"Brooklyn Museum Reaction"

1st Art Work - "Lotus" , Michael Klein, 2007
2nd Art Work - "Concrete, wave pomade, beeswax, house paint, spotlight " Michael Klein
3rd Art Work - "Blossom", gift of the Contemporary Art Council, and the Mary Smith Dorward Fund. 2011.10

Based on these three art works it relates to its exhibit. All three of these art works has it own significant feature to it. These art work can be a mixture of personal and cultural because it can define how an artist feel and the message its trying to portray. For example the art work blossom is very unusual art work with a piano connection to the tree. A tree can symbolize many things in life whether its love, hate or just life and they music the piano plays can signifies that. The different identity between these art work in my opinion is beauty, leadership, and life in general. Each of these art works sum up the idea of it identity for its show because you can get that feeling and idea of what the art work is trying to tell you especially where the art work is located. The surroundings of where the art work is located from each different shows can also give that idea. For example the second art work the artist try to show you the past and the future. Here you have a light shining on Dr. Martin Luther King Junior and in the shadow it shows President Barack Obama. This probably gives you an example of how history repeats itself in a way. The identity is outstanding with the three artworks. I wonder myself if it gives you an idea of how a human feel or what someone goes through.
